🌈 Celebrating Neurodiversity Celebration Week at Our School

🌈 Celebrating Neurodiversity Celebration Week at Our School

This week we are celebrating Neurodiversity Celebration Week (a week early!), a national event that encourages schools to recognise and value the many different ways children think, learn and experience the world.

Pupils will be introduced to the theme through assemblies, circle times and initial discussions about strengths, differences and inclusion. Children have begun learning that every brain works differently — and that these differences make our community more creative, compassionate and interesting.

We have also launched a whole‑school poster competition, inviting pupils to design artwork that celebrates neurodiversity. We are looking forward to seeing the entries over the coming days and to celebrating the children’s ideas, creativity and understanding.

Thank you to all our pupils for showing such enthusiasm as we begin this week of learning and celebration. We are proud of the inclusive, supportive community they help us to build every day.
