This half term, our Reception children became true dinosaur experts as they explored the exciting world of prehistoric creatures through stories, art, science and baking. To celebrate all of their hard work and learning, the children proudly invited their parents and families to a special Dinosaur Exhibition at school.
The exhibition was a wonderful opportunity for the children to share everything they had discovered during the topic. Families were amazed by the fantastic work on display and enjoyed hearing the children confidently talk about their learning experiences.
As part of the topic, the children created their very own dinosaur fossils using different materials and techniques, learning about how fossils help us understand life from millions of years ago. They also proudly showed off their delicious dinosaur biscuits, which they carefully made and decorated themselves.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the children’s dinosaur-inspired stories. The Reception children used their imaginations to create exciting adventures filled with roaring dinosaurs, mysterious jungles and brave explorers.
A huge thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended the exhibition and supported the children’s learning journey. The Reception team are extremely proud of all the children for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the topic. What a ‘roarsome’ half term it has been!
