The highlight of the visit was an exclusive introduction to his brilliant new graphic novel, Mighty Mega Pets: Freaky Food Fiasco! The children found it hilarious as Gary introduced them to his funny new cast of ordinary household pets who accidentally develop bizarre superpowers. Following the introduction, the children were treated to an interactive illustration masterclass and live draw-along session. Gary guided our budding young artists step-by-step through his creative process, showing them how to bring their own wacky superhero animals to life using simple shapes and expressions. The hall was buzzing with creativity as pupils put pencil to paper.
