Our Year 1 children enjoyed an exciting day full of royal adventures! Dressed as kings, queens, knights and princesses, they set off on a royal quest to save the King’s missing crown. Along the way, they danced their way through the Dragon’s Cave and practised their royal manners by learning how to bow like true royalty.

The children also took part in some fun royal games, testing their balance and coordination by balancing beanbags on their heads as they carefully walked around the throne like true kings and queens! They then became creative knights, designing and making their own colourful shields, before decorating delicious royal biscuits fit for a king or queen. 

It was a wonderful day filled with imagination, teamwork, creativity and plenty of royal fun. The year 1 little princes and princesses had a fantastic time on their magical castle adventure!
