This year’s School Council had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament today, following last year’s council who enjoyed their visit on Friday. The pupils were given a guided tour of the historic building, exploring both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. They also watched an informative video explaining how Parliament was formed and how it has developed over time.

The trip gave the children a fascinating insight into British democracy and the places where important decisions are made. Our School Council came away inspired and proud to have represented the voices of their classmates in such an important setting.
