On Friday, in Year 1, we were very lucky to have a special visitor!

Mary Seacole came to tell us her life story. She took us on a journey from her childhood in sunny Jamaica, to Crimea, where she helped injured soldiers and finally to England, where she wrote a book about her life. We had a lovely time singing songs about making medicines and going at sea with Mary and her friends.
