Rockmount Primary School is delighted to have been designated by the Department for Education as a Reception Network Lead School, as part of a national programme to strengthen Reception provision across England.
This designation followed a highly competitive national assessment process. The Department for Education recognised the strength of Rockmount’s Reception practice, the depth of expertise within our early years team, and the positive impact of our work both within school and beyond. We are extremely proud that our practice has been acknowledged at a national level.
As a Reception Network Lead School, Rockmount will contribute to regional improvement by bringing schools together to strengthen Reception provision, share effective practice, and improve outcomes for children at this critical stage of their education.
We are incredibly grateful to our staff, whose commitment and expertise have made this achievement possible, and we are excited to take on this new opportunity to champion excellence in early years education.
