Well done to Vedantika in Ruby Class for entering the 'Create a National Book Token design' competition and I’m very pleased to say that she been chosen as a winner!
Vedantika has won a £10 National Book Token and her classmates will each receive a £10 National Book Token – emblazoned with the winning artwork – to inspire them to choose their next favourite book from their local bookshop. You can see Vedantika's book token design below:
Joni has a theme for her learning each day. Yesterday, she had a 'My World Kitchen Day' and made Sushi!
Last week, my brother Umayr, my naughty little brother Abyad and I made a very big NHS rainbow, with the help of our mum.
We found a big piece of whiteboard in our garage. We got some paint and started painting a rainbow. However, the surface of the whiteboard was too shiny and the paint wouldn’t stick to it.
My mum then came up with a different idea. We found some colourful garland made of tissue paper. We soaked it in some PVA glue and started sticking it over the shape of the rainbow. We didn’t have all the colours of the rainbow, so we used other colours. Here is our NHS rainbow.
