Letters

Autumn Term

 

Year 1 have had an exciting start to the autumn term! We have been learning all about healthy eating and balanced diets. We started off by reading, 'Avocado Baby' by John Burningham and thinking about what would happen if we found a magic avocado! We wrote our own special avocado books and made guacomole. Now we are writing letters to Grendel to give him some advice on leading a healthy lifestyle and not eating too much chocolate! We are looking forward to our 'Staying Alive' dress-up day and learning more about Florence Nightingale, 'The Lady with the Lamp.'
