Ayanam Udoma visited the assemblies today, talking about his journey to be a contestant on "The Voice UK". He is on Team Tom and will compete in the battles tomorrow on ITV at 8.00 pm. He suffers from anxiety and spoke about how difficult it can be, but how he overcomes it. We were also treated to a rendition of his audition song, "Wonderwall" as well as a song called, "Iris". Ayanam has agreed to come back in the future. The children have said how he inspired them due to him being nervous and yet still performing and talking about his feelings. One Year 4 student said, "I had a lump in my throat and Ayanam truly helped me".
