• Winter Fair

  Our Winter Fair was a great success. We were entertained with music and dance performances as our Rockmount Choir and Dance Clubs showcased their talents. 

   

  Many of us enjoyed our first Christmas roast dinner of the festive season along with some delicious mulled wine. We were grateful to the stallholders for providing such varied and high quality present buying opportunities. Our School Council worked hard to organise their “Lucky Bag” stall which was popular and sold out very quickly. Many children had the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and his trusted elves in his fabulous Grotto. 
  A big thank you to all those who worked hard to organise the day and to those who attended and gave their support.
  

  

• RE Week 2015

  The week beginning 23rd February 2015 saw Rockmount Primary School celebrate RE week. The aim of the week was to raise the profile of RE across the school and involve the children in some fund raising events. We used the theme 'Why should we care?' throughout the school and each year group thought about this question from the point of view of a range of world religions. Click here to find out more!

  

• Sports coach visits Year 5

  Year 5 have been building on the gymnastics work they did in the Autumn term. They have been developing skills such as: balancing, jumping and developing sequences of movement.
