  Helen Carvall and Tracey Langridge attended a Food Flagship celebration at City Hall to celebrate our achievements over the last two years. A webpage has been set up which features two flagship films. There was also a presentation on the day which can be viewed here showing the impact of the Food Flagship work.

• Red Nose Day

  Red Nose Day was a great success. £806.32 has been raised so far. Thank you for your generous donations.

  World Book Day was a great success. Thank you to all parents, carers and staff for your support in creating so many magnificent costumes.

  

• The Big Pedal

  23 children from KS2 cycled 4 km around the Recreation Park for the Big Pedal Challenge. This was to raise money for Sustrans, a charity which is developing a network of safe cycling routes in the UK. Check out the Big Pedal website to see how many are riding and scooting to school.

   

  It was a damp morning, but 138 children cycled or scooted to school for the beginning of,'The Big Pedal'.

  Well done to everyone who took part in The Big Pedal. 40% of us travelled to school by bike or scooter. Jade Class cycled or scooted 172 times, Onyx 163 times and Zircon 161 times!
