  Today, Emerald Class's parents and carers came to have lunch with their children in the dinner hall. A lovely time was had by all and the food was delicious. Any parents/carers that were unable to attend today, a new date will be organised.

• Sport Relief

  Well done to everyone for taking part in our Sport Relief day. Lots of active fun was had by all. We hopped, skipped, jumped and danced 'The Sport Relief Mile'.

  

• The Rockmount Choir

  Congratulations to Rockmount Choir (Years 4-6) for performing in the CSMA Junior Concert at Trinity School. The choir joined forces with several other Croydon schools to form the CSMA Junior Choir. The children were all fantastic and demonstrated a huge amount of enthusiasm, effort and commitment. We are also looking forward to ending the Spring term with both the Rocksteady Concert and the Rockmount Orchestra’s debut concert.

  

• World Book Day

  World Book Day was a colourful and exciting celebration once again. Children and staff came dressed in their finest costumes and took part in a variety of activities. Some classes made their own special books; others shared their favourite books and talked about their favourite characters. A number of children enjoyed paired reading with children from a different class.

• E. R. Reilly visited school today.

  The children's author, E. R. Reilly visited our assemblies today. He read from his books and told us all about writing, giving us some 'top tips' for writing stories of our own. E.R. Reilly's books are available to buy. From 'Rashnu' which is especially suited to younger readers through to 'One Boy One Dream One Club' for more advanced readers.
